Photovoltaic system on the south facade in operation
At the start of the year, the expansion of our photovoltaic system (PV system) went into operation. This new system with over 16kW power was installed on the south facade of the company building.
With the installation of this system, a further step was taken towards self-supply with electrical energy. This took place in the course of the renovation of the southern facade of the company building. The part of the building was designed completely black to match the color of the PV modules. This created an eye-catcher that points to solar energy generation. This in the sense that the surface treatments carried out by Rieger Metallveredlung such as anodizing (anodizing), chrome, tin, nickel and the necessary pretreatments such as polishing and grinding are produced CO2-free with green electricity.
